Pusha T Releases McDonald’s Diss Track In New Arby’s Commercial — Listen

It’s been known for years now that Pusha T had a hand in creating the classic “I’m lovin’ it” jingle for McDonalds in the early 2000s. Push has revealed that he got paid upfront for his work there with no publishing and it’s something he regrets. “I took a super L” he said on Drink Champs. “That check’ll be nice.. ‘I’m lovin’ it’ been running for how long now? I did this in ’03, right? Who knows what it would have been”. He has warned artists about getting publishing rights but what’s lesser known is that the Virginia rapper learned from his own mistake quickly.

“The get back is real. I also own 40% of the Arby’s commercial so be clear… when you hear that guitar strum, it’s mine.”

Now, Push has taken his Arby’s deal to a whole new level. Early this afternoon, he takes to social media to tweet out his new diss track that he drops with the company. It’s aimed at McDonald’s and in the first few lines, he references their previous connection. “I’m the reason the whole world love it, now I gotta crush it” he raps.

It’s a funny little commercial which aims to sell Arby’s spicy fish sandwich. You can check it out below.
